The word "tillicum" means "friend" in the language of native americans in NW Washington.  Tillicum projects are sponsored by Upcreek CoOp in mutually beneficial arrangements with individuals and organizations in the Skagit Valley, WA area. They are cooperative efforts done with friends for the common good. Their goals are to create and strengthen friendships and to improve everyone's quality of life by empowering citizens and local organizations. If you have an idea or would like to participate in a Tillicum project, please send e-mail. 

	Helping people help people: non-profit organization and classroom websites, fundraising, grant proposals, brochures, special projects, etc.; workshops
	Helping people help themselves: individual websites, resume assistance, brochures, etc. especially for those in helping professions;  a co-counseling personal support group with the facilitator role rotating every 6 weeks; personal growth and interest workshops.
